Ideal Applications
This filter is highly effective for water supplies with low-to-moderate ferrous (dissolved) iron or hydrogen sulfide contamination. For peak performance, use under the following conditions:
- Iron and hydrogen sulfide levels are under 5 ppm.
- Water pH range is between 6.5 and 8.5.
- Note: This cartridge also removes ferric iron via mechanical filtration.

How the KDF85 Media Works
