Manufactured in California, USA, and certified to NSF Standard 61, this media is designed to remove contaminants through a precise combination of absorption and chemical reaction. It features a particle size consistent with ion exchange resin, ensuring optimal contact time and filtration efficiency.
Technical Performance & Capacity
To ensure the best results and extend your 1-year cartridge life, please follow these operational guidelines:
- Optimal Flow Rate: While it supports up to 2.5 GPM, we recommend a 0.5 GPM (gallons per minute) flow rate for maximum contaminant contact time.
- Hardness Impact: Effectiveness is sensitive to water hardness. If your water exceeds 100 ppm hardness, capacity may be reduced by 50%.
- pH Optimization: Performs best at a pH of 5, but remains effective across a 4–10 pH range.
