Description
System Specifications & Purification Stages
| Component | Specification | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 | 5 Micron Sediment Filter | Removes rust, dust, sand, and large sediment particles. |
| Stage 2 | 5 Micron Carbon Block | Eliminates chlorine, unpleasant odors, and cloudiness (VOCs). |
| Stage 3 | RO Membrane (50/150 GPD) | The core filter: removes up to 99% of Lead, Arsenic, and Fluoride. |
| Stage 4 | Post Carbon In-Line Filter | Final polishing stage for crisp, bottled-quality taste. |
| Storage | 3.2 Gallon RO Tank | Provides 2.8 gallons of pressurized, instant-access water. |
Why Choose the 50 GPD System?
The 50 GPD (Gallons Per Day) membrane is the industry standard for most residential kitchens. It provides plenty of water for drinking and cooking for a family of four. It is the most cost-effective solution if you primarily use your RO system for a dedicated drinking water faucet.
Why Upgrade to the 150 GPD System?
The 150 GPD membrane is an “Ultra-Fast” upgrade. We recommend this version if:
- You have a large family: You won’t run out of water during peak morning or evening hours.
- You connect to a Refrigerator: If your RO system feeds your fridge’s ice maker or water dispenser, the 150 GPD provides the higher pressure needed for long tubing runs.
- Less Waste: Higher GPD membranes often fill the storage tank faster, which can reduce the amount of time the system runs, potentially extending the life of your pre-filters.
Clear vs. Opaque Housing
Clear Housing (1st Stage): Choose the “Clear” option if you want to visually monitor your filter’s health. You can see the sediment build-up in real-time, so you know exactly when it’s time for a replacement without opening the system.
Standard Housing: Ideal for installations in cabinets with direct sunlight exposure to prevent any potential light-sensitive algae growth over long periods.
